59 Beetle.

Very original survivor car that spent its whole life in Sweden prior to me purchasing it.

A charming un restored and unmolested example. It has lots of original paint and some repainted areas where it picked up scratches and scrapes through the years. It has some lovely fade through to primer coat here and there, stone chips, dings and scratches. All marks from its 63 years of life giving it some great character.

The interior is fully original. Original seat upholstery, door cards, rubber mats and carpets. The original headliner has had some quirky patches added if it had a nick or  small tear which i think adds something to its story. See pics..Eberspacher heater. Steering lock with original keys. Original VW door key. Swedish accessory door screw bungs (anti door rattle for rougher roads). Swedish gravel guards on rear fenders. VW Mudflaps. Original wings with correct tubes under headlight bowls. A very solid car that has survived well and has only had a few small repairs over the years. The car came with a copy of original document from 1959 Showing it was first registered there in May of 1959. There is only one owner a Mr Sven Augustsson showing on that paperwork. I bought it from the family of the second owner who's name was not added to the papers for some reason.

This is a turn key car that i drive around on nice days. Its a pleasure to drive. The car has had a brake rebuild with all new hydraulic parts (German quality where available), new shoes, handbrake cables, hard and soft lines. Gearbox and motor removed, cleaned and fitted with new gearbox mounts, oil seal, axle boots etc. New clutch and flywheel oil seal. Heater boxes refreshed with new J tubes. New exhaust. New oil in gearbox & motor. Serviced and running beautifully (video available). New choke cable. New front bearings.

The car rolls on stock bug solids with 5 new Crossply tyres. Numbers show this (according to Samba.com technical info: Chassis April 59 Motor February 59 Gearbox April 59. Date on rear of speedo April 59. First registered in Sweden May 59.

UK Registered and correct paperwork in hand. A lovely unmolested period correct car that drives superbly.

73 Widebed Crew Cab.

1973 VW Crewcab with Westfalia Widebed.
I sourced the vehicle from Sweden where it had been parked indoors for many years close to the Sweden / Norway border. My understanding is it was a local authority owned vehicle first then a road surfacting company prior to its long term storage.

The truck was in very solid condition with only a few minor rust repairs needed. These were carried out by me and the areas blended in as best as possible. There was no chassis, outrigger, Jack point rust at all. Very good floors, loadbed etc. I have pics.

We stripped refurbed and fitted a genuine Westfalia wide bed which has new phenolic ply base and original side wood. It has the original Westfalia sticker on the back and brass plaque on the side.
I’ve never seen another widebed double cab and always wanted one so made it happen. I think it’s unique.

5 New 15” steels with brand new BF Goodrich KO2 tyres all round. The spare is located in the tool compartment area below rear seat.

Swedish spec headlight washers with large capacity kick panel screen wash reservoir and electric screen wash pump.
NOS Widebed mirrors.

Original upholstery interior in nice condition. Nice original dashboard, original upholstery door cards. All correct rubber floor mats.

We have gone thoroughly through the truck recommissioning it ready for years more use.
Work included.
Rebuilt 1600 motor. Align bored, new bearings, rings etc etc.
Solex carb with dual advance distributor and stock air cleaner.

Stripped, checked and re sealed gearbox with fresh oil.
New clutch.
New battery.
New cables.
New brakes (calipers, cylinders, master cylinder, discs, drums, handbrake cables and hoses.
Fuel tank removed, cleaned, new filler neck hoses and seals, new fuel sender, new breather hoses.
New genuine VW rear lights, new headlights, Nos front indicator lenses.
6 new Securon seatbelts bolted into factory seat belt mounting points.

Bluetooth Sony stereo with concealed speakers below seats.

All electrics work including the dash lights, interior light, fuel gauge, number plate light etc.
it has an eberspacher heater which is a factory original unit but I have not used it. As we have fitted really good heat exchangers I don’t have the eberspacher connected as we just don’t need it here.

We put this together so it was ready for us to drive. Up for sale to fund ongoing and future projects only.
I’d love to see this go to someone that wants a good useable classic commercial and lives in a climate where it would be preserved.

62 Beryl green beetle.

Original Beryl Green 62 Beetle.
Recently found in Sweden and brought out from being stored in a dry heated garage for many years.

A very original car that has survived very well due to indoor storage when not in use.

We have recommissioned the car giving it a service, rear gearbox mounts, fuel lines, steering disc and a full hydraulic brake rebuild inc master cylinder, wheel cylinders, flexible / soft lines and shoes all round. Bearings checked and greased.
Engine and gearbox oil changed. Clutch checked and main seal replaced.

As far as i see the car has never been welded and is really very solid. I have pictures available of the underside which shows the original undercoat still in place.

It appears all panels are original to the car including all fenders which is fairly rare these days.

Inside its all original and in fantastic condition.
This must be one of the last cloth headliner cars and its all intact. Not torn.
Door cards are original, carpets are original, correct green coloured rubber mats.
The seats are just superb though. Original cloth with vinyl sides and great piping. Its so hard to recreate an original look so to find such an untouched interior is quite special.

The dashboard is all as it should be and sports two H stickers. These were reminders to drive on the Hoger (right) side of the road when Sweden changed from driving on the left to driving on the right in September 67. A small detail but a nice one i feel.

The motor starts and runs well and we've been driving it around on nice sunny days recently.
1200cc 34hp. All original looking.

The car was repainted externally at some point a long time ago and there are signs of age here and there. A very nice looking classy early sixties beetle to cruise around in.

There are a couple of very small rust spots which are non serious and do not affect the use of the car. Lower engine lid, rear inner bumper mount, tiny corner below spare wheel well. That,s is. Its one of the most solid cars i have seen for some time.

Can deliver in the UK or ship worldwide.

73 Volvo 145 Express

1973 Volvo 145 Express.

A rare vehicle and one of three known in the UK.

An unusual model based on the 145 estate car but with a factory option high roof and tall tailgate. Very large load capacity especially with rear seats folded down.T

he car starts and runs and has what i believe to be the original B20 2000cc motor. Single stromberg carb.

The motor starts and idles ok, sounds quite smooth and quiet running. It has a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The clutch is not working which i believe is why they stopped using the car. It was parked up for some years unused.

You are looking at a restoration project that needs rust repair to the lower body. Sills, floor etc have rust so it will be a full strip down and restore job on this one. Upper body, around windows etc are good. See picture file. I have over 150 pics showing inside, outside, underneath, motor etc. It needs quite a bit of work.

Dashboard is quite good without cracks etc. Some switches missing from centre console. Original front seats are fairly good for age, rear seat is torn. Original towbar and over cab rack. Added full roof rack which looks great i think alongside the paint fade and patina of the roof. All original glass, all doors open and close ok apart from the left rear which did until i closed it yesterday and now it doesn't open again.. Small problem in the grand scheme. Key in the ignition and the car starts and idles. Lights work, wiper motor works, horn gives a lame toot occasionally.

A cool old Volvo that's mostly complete but needs some love to bring back to life on the road again.

Correct paperwork in hand.

£2750. Can deliver / ship.

77 Kombi.

1st July 1977 built VW Kombi. Running project.   Price: £45001977 VW Bay window Kombi / Camper.
Build date 1st July 1977 and sold through VW Audi distribution centre in Kessel, Germany.
I recently rescued this bus from long term (25 years) storage in a barn.

Imported by its German owner at the end of the 90's and stored in a barn on land he bought while he was preparing to build a house. The bus ended up being used to store his possessions while the house was to be built. There it stayed full of suitcases for 25 years. We dragged it out into the light again in April.

The bus is running and driving. We drained the fuel tank and put in fresh fuel, fitted new fuel lines, new battery, cleaned out carb and fitted new points, condenser, and plugs. That done it started up and ran. The Alternator charges and oil pressure seems ok. See video of it running.

Electrically most things are working. wipers, headlights, reversing lights etc.

Its a restoration project so does need some work. Welding will be needed to lower body. Sills, arches, outriggers etc. I have lots of pics. The chassis is quite good, front panel good, solid gutters etc.

Gearbox seems good although we've only driven it around the yard but selects gears and moves around fine.

The brakes do work and do stop the bus. That said they will need a thorough going through due to the length of time its been in storage.

To be clear. this is a resto project. You cant drive it home and you wont be using it as a daily driver next week.

67 Rolling pan.

£SOLD. Can deliver / ship.

59/60 Rolling pan.

1959 / 60 Beetle complete rolling floorpan in good used original condition.

I purchased this from a guy in Somerset a couple of years ago as part of a parts collection left to him by his Grandfather who had passed away. The floor pan has the one year front gearbox mount so i date it to august 59 to august 60 time period. For some unknown reason the previous owners grandfather or an owner before him had removed the chassis number. Im told he was going to use a slightly earlier chassis for his project and not this but still unsure why that was done.

Since the pictures were taken the engine has been used in another project and is not included in this sale.

Complete rolling chassis including:

Front and rear suspension. Complete steering assembly. Full pedal assembly. Gear shift stick and rods. Gearbox. All brake parts inc handbrake.

All 5 wide 5 x 205 pcd wheels. Not those pictured. they were used already on another car.

The floor pans have been replaced at some point and are in very solid condition. Good frame head and seat runners.

If you want a RHD pan its very easy to convert and i do have some (70's) RHD pedals i could supply for a small fee.

No paperwork with this one. Ideal if you have a rotten chassis , bare chassis and need all the original components or base for off road car of some sort. I'm sure there are numerous other possibilities too.
